THE PROBLEM

ACG faced multiple usability and engagement challenges:

  • New users struggled to join local chapters due to inconsistent application processes and varying membership dues

  • The platform UI lacked clarity, making it difficult for users to navigate or consume data

  • Conferences were poorly promoted on the platform, leading to low visibility and participation

PROCESS

1. Stakeholder Interviews

I supported the lead UX Designer by helping to synthesize insights from stakeholder interviews, identifying key user and business pain points.

2. Platform Audit

Participated in auditing the existing platform, documenting usability issues and inconsistencies in UI patterns and data presentation.

3. Wireframing & Prototyping

Contributed to developing wireframes and prototypes, focusing on introducing new UI paradigms that improved user flows and data readability.

4. User Testing

I assisted in planning and conducting user testing sessions, gathering feedback, and analyzing results to inform iterative design improvements.
